Raise Your Frequency, Kenneth!

This winter season, if you feel the brunt of the holiday bustle or the strain of social unrest, I invite you to try out these 6 simple tips to help raise your vibe: 

  1. Reconnect to the Earth. Earthing is an amazing way to calm the nervous system. You may also listen to the 172 hz frequency (the harmonic frequency of Nature) for an added effect.

  2. Practice non-judgement. Judgement, of yourself or others, lowers your vibe. Take the inner critic for a hike instead of letting it convince you of things that agitate you or bring you down.

  3. Sit in the sunlight. As we near the Winter Solstice, our time in the sun is very limited. Take advantage of the few and precious days when there is sun! Sit in the sun and feel its warmth on your face. Ahhh, it’s the best kind of vitamin D!

  4. Detox daily. Drink more water. Fast intermittently. Do a castor oil pack. Avoid sugar and processed foods. Gua Sha your lymphatic system. Work up a sweat. Dry brush your skin. Share a massage with your partner. Take a salt bath. Breathe deeply. All these things assist the body’s natural detoxifying processes and help you to feel better.

  5. Be choosey about your social consumption. Pay mindful attention to how social media/interactions make you feel. If you feel anxious, agitated, or depleted afterwards, choose to limit your intake by setting a healthy boundary.

  6. Meditate. This is by far the best way to calm your mind, soothe your nervous system, and raise your vibe. If you are new to meditation or having difficulty meditating, there are sooo many ways available! You can try different techniques until you find what works for you.
